Vulveré is not about eroticizing, commodifying, or civilizing a woman's genitals. It's about PUSSY as a metaphor and access point to the deepest, wildest, rawest parts of ourselves. It's about witnessing that which is woman and saying, "You see this? This is sacred. This is DIVINE. You cannot rape this. You cannot cut this or hurt this. This is a beauty that exists in all of us and it must be revered.”
The vulva is a literal representation of the deep parts of ourselves that we keep hidden; that we cut-off, ignore, try and mask with artificial fragrance. These unseen parts host the root centers of our deepest truths, our most essential longings. Vulveré is a tribute to these most intimate geographies. No two are alike yet every one is sacred. This work is a call for a collective return to reverence. A witnessing of the wild inner parts in all of us; the star dust at the center of our souls. It is time we spread, we open up, and recognize to the magic within. The dark, the soft, the wet, the raw.
